Marketing with video
With increased internet speeds for the majority of us, video has become a viable option for marketing on the web. Statistics show about 28% of time U.S. people spend on Google is using YouTube and 35% globally is spent on YouTube. That is a massive amount of time spent viewing video. Many people are very visual verses textual and that is an audience every marketer should use to there advantage.
When marketing with video, as with any marketing campaign, you need to ask yourself why do I need or want video on my website or on other sites? What is my primary objective? Some aspects of a primary objective may be link generation, keyword or key phrase targeted content, additional public recognition, a new product or service, or maybe a combination of all or some of the above mentioned.
